Cyprus Occupation

Cyprus Action Network of America informs, 20 July a meeting took place in front of the Embassy of Turkey in the USA protesting against Turkish occupation of Northern Cyprus, which lasts 34 years.
On July 20th 1974 Turkish army invaded Cyprus, occupying one third part of the island, declaring “Independent Turkish State of Northern Cyprus”.
CANA claim, Cyprus historical monuments, churches and proves of Cyprus presence in the region are systematically destroyed by the Turkish in the north part of Cyprus.
