According to Zawya, Iran starts gas exports to Armenia by October 13, 2008. Iran plans to export average 1.1 billion cubic meters yearly, increasing the stream to 2.2 by 2019.

Iran gas in Armenia
Mehrnews announces Iran will start exporting gas to Armenia by 1 October 2008. Iran is going to provide about 1.1 billion cubic meters of gas. Accordingly Armenia will start exporting 3.3 billion kw/h of electricity a year. In the condition of blockade the gas supply from Iran is really an important factor for Armenia.
